Join us for the Telford Fossil Festival 2026 on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June, 11am–4pm, for a fun-filled weekend celebrating fossils and dinosaurs. This family-friendly event features fossil talks and shows, hands-on workshops including fossil casting, digging, and preparation, plus the chance to take home your own fossil.
Highlights include the Public Fossil Lab unveiling a brand-new museum specimen, a range of fossil stalls and paleoartists, and a screen-accurate Jurassic Park Jeep on display. Don’t miss the live talk and book signing with Dr Dean Lomax and Bob Nicholls, alongside additional expert talks throughout the weekend.
Entry to the Exotic Zoo is included. The Exotic Zoo is nestled in the amazing and award-winning Telford Town Park Home to a wide variety of exotic species, the zoo is dedicated to inspiring curiosity about the natural world—making it the perfect setting for a prehistoric adventure.
