The big change this year is the location – a bigger, better site at Humble by Nature in Penallt. The new location allows space for a quiet zone for family campers and separate fields for camping and parking. Parking is still free.
The Newport Bus route 65 runs between Chepstow and Monmouth and stops at the festival site – the frequency is being increased, the service will run all weekend and there will be late night buses from the festival after the last act finishes, so it’s a real option for Cardiff and Newport visitors.
Festival Director Jeremy Horton says “The 2024 festival was a fantastic success and at Humble by Nature we can deliver the same intimate family friendly experience while adding to the features that went down a storm last year.”
“So, there will again be 5 stages, with music to suit everyone and we’ll be expanding the crafts, food traders and kids’ activities. The wellness area with free morning yoga that was so popular will be back, bigger and better.”
Devauden Festival is “The small festival with big ideas” and attracts a hugely varied audience, with some visitors coming to every festival since 2010 and the event is now a firm family favourite involving children, parents and grandparents.
The line-up has been announced with the amazing Molotov Jukebox headlining on Friday to get the party going and Rusty Shackle closing on Sunday night. Go to www.devaudenfestival.com to access the ticket booking site and Facebook will keep you updated.
Devauden Festival is organised by Devauden Hall CIO (registered charity number 1207141), which runs Hood Memorial Hall, Devauden and all profits from the festival go directly to the charity. It is organised and managed entirely by volunteers.
