Our Spring Afternoon Racing fixture brings the excitement of jump racing action to the heart of Herefordshire, offering a perfect midweek escape filled with sport, atmosphere, and fresh seasonal energy.
With a card of six to eight jump races, the day promises plenty of drama, from the anticipation in the parade ring to the thunder of hooves down the home straight. Whether you’re a dedicated racing fan or simply looking for a different way to spend a Wednesday, this is the kind of outing that leaves lasting memories.

Wednesday racing at Hereford is all about relaxed enjoyment. Gates open late morning, giving you plenty of time to arrive at your leisure, grab a drink or bite to eat, and soak up the buzz as racegoers gather. It’s a welcoming environment where both seasoned racegoers and newcomers can share in the thrill of the sport without the hustle and bustle of a weekend crowd.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
